On Tuesday evening, Kylie Jenner shook the world with the news of her latest venture via Instagram with a picture of her sitting in a stifling black leather trench and cherry red Ferragamo heels. A fashion mystery is something worth getting our hands dirty, so we decided to go full-on Inspector Gadget and give you all the deets on Jenner’s most recent creation.

With the Kardashian family thriving in their respective fashion brands such as Kim’s SKIMS, Khloe’s Good American, and Kourtney’s collection with fast-fashion retailer Boohoo, it’s not a surprise that the billionaire and fashion icon (let’s not forget) wants to be a part of a movement in the industry, taking a dab at putting women creative directors and designers at the forefront.

Khy is a clothing brand that will be done in partnership with her mother Kris Jenner, and power couple and business moguls Emma and Jens Grede, the CEOs behind SKIMS and Good American. The website currently holds Kylie’s back facing you in the elusive trench coat. Upon entry, users are allowed to sign up for early access, letting you know once products drop, and are available to shop.

But what is the premise of Khy that will make it different from her sibling’s brands? The new clothing line will feature guest designers, possibly drawing inspiration from what some of her favorite designers and brands create, with a signature Jenner twist.

Jenner herself is known for wearing brands such as Acne Studios, Balenciaga, Loewe, Prada, Schiaparelli, and all things couture, so streetwear meets quiet luxury, blended with the addition of skintight staples and a minimal-maximalist attitude, is definitely the intended vibe for Khy. The collection’s debut line will include pieces meant for investment at an affordable price point, creating yet another outlet to have her subjects salivating over.

Unveiled in another Instagram post with the caption “KHY. creativity, collaboration, and quality at an accessible price.”, Khy announced that the brand’s first release is done in collaboration with sex-positive brand Namilia, and the first drop is set to hit the digital shelves of Khy’s website on November 1st. Will you be buying?
