It’s all coming up roses this fall for BIMBA Y LOLA and Palomo Spain as the two houses join forces to create a capsule collection under the joint name of BIMBA Y PALOMO, fusing the local energy of both brands. Avant-garde language meets genderless freedom in this collection featuring coats, skirts, jackets, dresses, tops, necklaces, and rings. Using a black, white, and red canvas, the rose is a common thread tying several items together into an artisanal and groundbreaking language that characterizes each brand.

Created in his workshop studio in Posadas, Spain, Alejandro Gómez Palomo has revolutionized Spanish fashion since 2015, having passion for craftsmanship capable of garnering the world’s attention for multiple generations while stripping away labels and prejudices of Palomo’s small Andalusian town. The collaboration features translucent print on handmade knitwear, dense cloak on mini-dresses, sweaters, and halter neck tops. The rose is the centerpiece of the collection, seen on necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings. The collection presents incredibly crafted leather work in maxi coats, skirts, and biker jackets, using vertiginous language to fuse biker aesthetics with corsairs corsets, and ruffles. An asymmetrical slip dress in triacetate satin brings the Spanish imagination to life with the tail of a flamenco dress.

The campaign for BIMBA Y PALOMO utilizes contrast to bring the collection to life, whether it be between locations or between the brands. Photographed by Grant James-Thomas in New York City, the chiaroscuro highlights and reveals the most sought-after accessories of the collection, like the straight high boots or the leather bag in the shape of a rose. The campaign accurately captures the emotion put into the collection and the feeling of owning and wearing the items: pure passion.

The BIMBA Y PALOMO collection is now available to purchase on the  BIMBA Y LOLA APP, select stores, and bimbaylola.com.
