Actor and CHANEL Ambassador Lily-Rose Depp takes on a new sport for the house’s newest Coco Neige 2023/24 collection. Lensed by photographer Mikael Jansson, the campaign explores the world of ice skating, with the young actor in sophisticated, and fashionably functional ensembles. Representing the natural union between sport and fashion, a youthful, feminine line is faultlessly designed for ski slopes and (ice) dancefloors alike. Lily-Rose is the perfect exemplar of a graceful ice princess while reflecting CHANEL’s house codes.

Regarding the new collection and campaign, Lily-Rose, who is seen outfitted in ice skates, a tight-fitting gold lamé jumpsuit, a technical satin ski suit with a shearling hood, and a printed velvet outfit notes, “When I heard that we were going to be shooting at an ice-skating rink, I couldn’t help but think of Ice Princess, this movie I used to watch all the time when I was a little girl and I’d think, I want to be an ice skater too! I never quite pursued the dream, but I loved that movie.”

“I love how Virginie Viard always reinvents the codes of CHANEL, but in different ways,” she continues. “Like the chain pattern on my sweater or a really cute little skirt that has a gold chain motif reminiscent of the jeweled belts and the costume jewelry. I love the way we get so attached to these patterns and we associate them with CHANEL, they’re so timeless and iconic.” The collection is painted in a classic palette of black and white with vivified splashes of fuchsia pink and gold, further embracing the essence of CHANEL.

The CHANEL Coco Neige 2023/24 collection will be available in boutiques beginning October 17th.
