She’s one of the original it-girls, adored globally by audiences of all ages. Baby doll eyes, petite curves, and a little sultry attitude in her iconic walk, Betty Boop is the original sassy symbol of our time. This makes perfect sense since Betty Boop has appeared in over 100 cartoons after making her debut into pop culture in the Fleischer Studios cartoon titled Dizzy Dishes, dating back to 1930. But for this summer, Miss Boop is claiming her throne in the fashion game as she teams up with creative directors and founders of Dsquared2, Dean and Dan Caten, for a special capsule collection.

Championing Betty’s status as one of the ultimate superheroines, the Dsquared2 collection sees her donning a red superhero cape as she flys through a city on an original printed cartoon storyline, patched on some of the brand’s classic staples. The men’s and women’s light-blue wash denim pieces get embellished Betty Boop patchwork prints on the front and back, as Betty adorns a black hoodie and white, cotton T-shirt with her adorable little self and a DSQ2 logo. The custom-designed artwork also appears on the brand’s range of accessories including baseball caps, a denim bucket hat, and high-rise cotton sneakers.

The Dsquared2 x Betty Boop capsule collection is now available to purchase at Dsquared2.com.
